(born on 25th March 1973) is a Professor and head of Department of Economics and Management in Metallurgy, VSB - Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic, EU) and Professor and head of Department of Logistics and Quality Management at SKODA AUTO UNIVERSITY (Czech Republic, EU). He was working as a visiting professor at the AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland, EU) and Opole University of Technology (Poland, EU). He acquired ING-PEAD IGIP International Engineering Educator degree awarded by the International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP – Switzerland). He completed an internship at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland, EU) and Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys (Russian Federation). His pedagogical and research activities are focused on industrial logistics and supply chain management. He is a logistics auditor, member of the Chamber of Logistics Auditors, guarantor of the Logistics Academy certification and educational organization. Lecturer of courses for business sphere. Principal investigator or co-investigator of contract projects (e.g. SKODA AUTO a.s., Siemens s.r.o.) and scientific and research projects (supported by national as well as international funds). Member of Editorial Boards of international journals (e.g. Archives of Transport indexed in Scopus). Guarantor and organizer of annual international congress. Member of scientific committees of international conferences (e.g. Carpathian Logistics Congress indexed in Web of Science). Author and co-author of more than 180 publications (monographs, scientific articles indexed in Web of Science, conference and seminar papers).
